We are a 4YP practice, so provide confidential services to young people aged 13 – 24 years old. You can come on your own or with a friend/parent/carer.

The service is designed to give information and advice on a variety of health issues related to young people. We offer you the opportunity to speak confidentially to a doctor or a nurse on the following aspects:

  • Contraception
  • Sexual health
  • Emergency ‘after sex’ contraception
  • Chlamydia testing
  • Pregnancy testing and advice
  • Advice on unplanned pregnancy
  • Support to stop smoking
  • Drug or alcohol worries
  • Bullying
  • Any health problem that is concerning you

Our practice provides ‘C’ card registration so if you would like to have free condoms, please contact our receptionist to book an appointment. We are also a condom pick up point if you already have a ‘C’ card.

The service is an open appointment system and you can access the service by asking reception for a 4YP appointment. You will be offered to be seen at that time by the duty 4YP doctor or nurse. If this is not convenient to you, then reception can book you an appointment in advance instead.
